Vaginal Tightening Surgery (Vaginoplasty) / *currently not available
Vaginal Tightening is advised for women who due to several pregnancies have loosened tightness of their vaginal muscles. This cosmetic surgery increases the tightness and in some cases restores the vagina to how it was before pregnancy. The surgery often enhances sexual satisfaction.
Operation
This cosmetic surgery procedure is performed in an operating theatre in a general anaesthetic and it takes about an hour. Overnight stay at the clinic is required and this stay is already included in the price of the cosmetic surgery. In order to remove and shorten the unwanted skin, the plastic surgeon has to join the stretched muscle at the back of the vagina together. The surgeon uses dissolving stitches, which do not need to be removed.
Post-operative course:
The places were the surgery was performed will feel swollen and sore, but you should be able to walk without discomfort within a few days. You should be able to go back to work after about a week. It is necessary to avoid sex for 4–6 weeks after the surgery.
Female Genital Reshaping or Labia Reduction (Labiaplasty)
Labia Reduction surgery is advised for women who have enlarged or irregular labia. This cosmetic surgery procedure reduces the size of inner labia (the inner genital lips). The results should be permanent.
The surgery is performed in a general anaesthetic and you will stay for 1 night at the clinic, which is already included in the price of your cosmetic surgery. The plastic surgeon uses dissolving stitches, which do not need to be removed.
Operation
During the surgery the plastic surgeon cuts away the unwanted labia tissue to achieve the desired shape. Sometimes the plastic surgeon removes a wedge-shaped section of the labia. By this the front intact is left and only the tissue from behind is removed. Due this there is no change in the colour of the labia, so the surgery is less noticeable.
Post-operative course:
The areas where the surgery was performed will be painful and swollen, that’s why it is likely that you will be unable to have sex for 6 weeks.
Hymen Repair (Hymenoplasty) *currently not available
Hymen repair is a surgery to repair a torn hymen. This cosmetic surgery procedure is often done for cultural or religious reasons. The surgery is performed in a general anaesthetic and it takes about one hour. After the surgery you will stay for 1 night at the clinic, which is already included in the price of the surgery. The plastic surgeon uses dissolving stitches, which do not need to be removed.
How will I feel after the surgery?
You will probably feel tired, sleepy and suffer from pain especially in 1–3 days after the surgery. The surgeon will also prescribe you antibiotics as a prevention of any potential infection and also tablets for reducing the swelling.
You might also feel unhappy after a few days. This is normal and is caused due to the stress, general anaesthetic, lack of patience with the healing problems, more pain than you expected or the fact that because you underwent cosmetic surgery abroad you miss your home and family.
